The Electrum stencil applicator is a very different feel on your fingers than a lot of other similar products. A little goes a long way. If you use too much you will likely cause your stencil to smudge as it dries. Apply it to skin that is tacky or sticky and you will get a super vibrant and long lasting stencil. Allow your stencil to dry well before starting.

Here are the directions from the manufacturer:

Use Electrum to apply stencils made by hand, or thru a thermal stencil machine.

1) Sanitize and Prep skin

2) Apply enough Electrum to get the entire are being stenciled 'tacky'

3) Press your stencil into place for  few moments then peel back.
